Discover WW1 via an Immersive Large Floor Map

Immerse yourself in a giant cartography to better apprehend the soldiers’ experience as well as the transformations that affected the territories, the landscape and the heritage at the end of the Great War. This free event for the public is organized on the Invalides site, open from 10 am to 5 pm, from October 29 to December 6, 2018.

Immersion1418 is the Augmented Reality application to browse the Michelin walk-on map of the Great War and the IMMERSION 14-18 exhibition organized at the INVALIDES site from October 29 to December 6, 2018, as part of the official celebrations of the centenary of the Armistice of November 11, 1918.

This experiment is conducted with the support of the Centennial Mission and MICHELIN group, the Army Museum and the Department of Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is produced by Intuit’art, an augmented scenography agency, mixing immersive and interactive scenography using augmented reality technology.
